  • Its a neat cemetery. Its full of history. I had done some research on the history of Alpine from the very first pioneers that took up residence in this town. It was neat to see many names mentioned in the towns history, actually buried within this cemetery.

My favorite section so far is an area in which you go up this very narrow incline that winds around the top of the hill. The graves are full of significant residents that helped shaped the town of Alpine. This section of graves overlooks the valley and can see some stunning views and sunsets from this section of the cemetery.

If you enjoy local Utah Pioneer history, you'll enjoy checking out this cemetery. It is also very well maintained amd graves are cleaned off and well marked.

  • Saddest place for me, yet so beautiful...my brother (only sibling, and absolute best friend) is buried there, right by my grandpa, great-grandparents, and two cousins. I have over 10 family members on the middle/north hill, and an aunt & several other family members at the top. Not to mention countless family friends over several generations. My family grew up in the AF/Alpine area for years, and most of us want to be buried here. One day my dad and I will be buried next to my brother. As i said, sad but beautiful cemetery. The groundskeepers do a WONDERFUL job of keeping the cemetery clean & landscaped, and they are so kind to leave personal items left by family and friends where they are either forever or as long as possible. I have never been to such a peaceful and gorgeous cemetery.

  • There is a neat and really well kept Pioneer cemetery on a hill as part of this nice city cemetery.
